← Dad pitch home

Company posture

What “we sell software, not surveillance” means here

Six locked promises — the same six highlighted on the pitch landing page, expanded slightly for readers who want the full paragraph.

No phone home

Apps are built to talk to your endpoints — customer-deployed backends, Apple’s services, on-device engines — not to a proprietary Everplay-Tech “mother ship” that could aggregate behavior.

One-time purchase

$9.99 for AiMANAC; $1 per sibling SKU. No subscription rent-seeking, no in-app purchases that paywall core ethics.

Customer-owned data

Durable state belongs to your phone storage, your iCloud where designed in, and servers you operate for the Paramount/Companion backends — not to us.

Apple Sale = trust floor

Distribution through the App Store means Apple code review, signing, and sandboxing. That is deliberately the minimum bar we accept for shipping.

iCloud-only sync

Cross-device sync that goes through Apple uses iCloud — we do not operate a parallel “Everplay sync cloud” for product telemetry or lock-in.

You can’t be locked out

Recovery combines Apple identity with deployment-side secrets you hold. We cannot mint a backdoor reset — which protects you from us, and protects us from being used as a lever against you.
