Vault Attachments keep PDFs, images, Office files, and ZIPs on your backend until you ask for a temporary copy. HELM can summarize them and point you to them — it does not dump whole file bytes into the chat stream.

Preview downloads a temporary file so the system viewer can open it. AiMANAC does not turn attachments into editable Vault documents in the current version.

Download or Share Copy gives you a temporary file on the device. The protected original stays on your backend.
