Eight browser chores you can always see.
ARACHNID is the cautious iPhone browser for automation: navigate, extract text, capture screenshots, fill fields — with mechanical metaphors and a stop control nearby. Defaults to a normal web view; optional stripped reading lens when you want less page magic. There is no separate ARACHNID cloud you rent; trust rides with the rest of the family apps when installed beside AiMANAC.
- Eight HELM-facing browser tools (family brief): visible controls, no silent drive-by.
- Spider-ship visuals so “who is driving” stays obvious during automation.
- Settings copy matches sibling trust language; deeper automation still defers to AiMANAC when you want a full control room.
Browser-shaped chores stay on the phone where you can see them. AiMANAC issues the HELM intents; ARACHNID executes inside WKWebView with the Acid Bath / control deck posture described in the ARACHNID design brief — not a remote MCP HTTP “drive my phone browser from the public internet” endpoint.
ARACHNID is the visible-controls browser for HELM-driven web work. Discord is where operators discuss the eight tools, share extraction patterns, and report sites that need the stripped reading lens.
