BAB3
BAB3 is a bring-your-own-key fiction instrument for drafting, revision, story diagnosis, writers' rooms, and long-form project work. It keeps auditable local story material and reports provider or model failure honestly instead of inventing an answer.
Connection and privacy
BAB3 has no Everplay account, analytics SDK, telemetry service, or Everplay-hosted chat relay. Cloud prompts and selected manuscript context go directly to the provider endpoint you choose; that provider's terms and retention practices apply. Local model inference and read-aloud stay on the device. Dictation requires Apple on-device speech recognition and reports unavailability rather than silently changing to server recognition.
Support
- No response: open Connection and verify the selected route, endpoint, model name, and Keychain-backed key.
- Local model unavailable: check the readiness panel for runtime, model file, storage, and thermal status.
- Voice unavailable: review microphone and speech-recognition access in iOS Settings, then start a new dictation session.
- Before destructive work, use the redacted preview and export controls to understand the backup boundary.
Email support@llmtech.net. Never send provider keys, private prompts, manuscripts, or unredacted exports.
