Give your draiyod live eyes on the web.

Out of the box, DUD3P0 reasons from what your model already knows and can read a page you hand it. To let it search the live web on its own — news, prices, fresh docs, anything past the model's training — it needs one free search key. You grab it from Tavily, paste it into Dud3 once, and it lives in your phone's Keychain. We never see it. This page walks you through it, even if you've never touched an API key before.

• web_searchYour draiyod searches the live web and gets back ranked results — title, link, and a clean snippet — then reads the best ones in full.
• read_urlHand it a link (or let it follow one from a search) and it pulls the readable text off the page. This one needs no key — it already works.
• Your Web PackEvery page it searches or reads is remembered in a private, on-device index. Ask something similar later and it answers from your own pack first — faster, and without another external call.

1. Open Tavily. Go to app.tavily.com (the Get a free key button above opens it in a new tab).
2. Sign up. Use Google, GitHub, or an email address. It's free and asks for no credit card.
3. Find your API key. Right on the dashboard you'll see your key. It starts with tvly- — for example tvly-AbCd1234…. Tap the copy button next to it.
4. Keep it private. Treat it like a password. If it ever leaks, you can regenerate it on the same dashboard and the old one stops working.

1. Back in DUD3P0, open Settings. Find Web Search (it's also the globe tile in the Control Grid).
2. Tap Set Up Web Search and paste your tvly- key.
3. Tap Verify. Dud3 runs one quick test search to confirm the key works before saving it. A bad key is rejected on the spot — it never silently stores a key that doesn't work.
4. Done. The globe Web Search tile turns ON. From now on your draiyod searches whenever a question needs it. Tap the tile any time to switch search on or off.

Every page Dud3 searches or reads is tucked into a Web Pack — a small search index that lives on your phone, in the same on-device engine that powers the app's memory and reasoning. It isn't a cache of links; it's semantically searchable, so when you later ask something related, Dud3 recalls from your own pack first and only goes back to the live web when the pack doesn't already hold a fresh-enough answer.

• CompoundsThe more you use search, the better your pack answers — your usage builds your edge, not someone else's.
• PrivateIt never leaves the device and never reports anywhere. It's yours, like your chats and your key.
• Fresh-awareCached pages are flagged by age; for anything time-sensitive Dud3 re-searches rather than trusting a stale page.

• Key on-deviceYour tvly- key is written to the iOS Keychain. It leaves the phone only as the authorization header on your searches to Tavily — never to us.
• No phone-homeDUD3P0 does not report your searches, results, or pack to Everplay. This site is pull-only knowledge; the app stays quiet.
• No fabricationWithout a key, Dud3 says search isn't on rather than pretending it searched. With a key, it cites the links it actually used.
• You hold the switchThe Web Search tile is an owner switch. Off means off — even with a key set, no search tool is offered to the model.

• Key rejectedMake sure you copied the whole thing, starting with tvly- and no stray spaces. Still stuck? Regenerate it on the Tavily dashboard and paste the new one.
• Tile says SET UPThat just means no key yet. Tap it to come back here, grab a key, and paste it in Settings.
• Search still offIf the tile reads OFF, tap it once to turn it ON. The switch only does something once a key is saved.
• DeepSeek (or any provider)Web search is run by the app, not the model, so it works the same with DeepSeek, OpenAI, Anthropic, or a local endpoint. If your model says it "can't browse," it just means the tile is off or no key is set.
• Out of searchesThe free tier is 1,000 searches a month and doesn't roll over. Your Web Pack softens this — repeat questions answer from your own pack without spending a search.
